Fun with my brother and sister-in-law

We had the priviledge of speaking to Pepperdine students and got to see our wonderful family on the trip. We had the best time with the newlyweds.

So thankful to have Jenna in our family!

Beauty

Sammy climbed to the top of the hill to see the view. I think the view is pretty good from here. Beautiful littly boy.

Pumpkin Festival in Old Colorado City

They had a pumpkin weighing contest and this was our favorite one.

Sweet litte scarecrows

My Brother

They love to be together wherever they are, whatever they are doing.

Best Buds

It's either dressed up or no clothes

Sammy is in a funny phase right now. He loves to dress up. He and Jack have a basket of boy dress up clothes and they come out in them one by one.
If he is not dressed up, he prefers NO clothes! Love that guy...

Big 3

Samuel Warren turned 3 last week! What a sweet boy he is.

Here are some things 3 loves right now:

Playing outside with "my brother"

Swimming at the YMCA

Riding in his power wheels with Jack as the driver

Walking around in just underwear and a shirt

Playing baseball (He is getting pretty good at hitting, but when he goes to run the bases, he just runs away from whoever is chasing him :))

Says, "I am free (3), and that is a lot"

"my brother"

"Girly Bear" instead of Grizzly Bear

Loves to do flips on Daddy

Riding his trike

Loves to imagine

He had a wonderful party with some new friends

Big 3. We are so thankful for you Sammy!

Our Colorado Life

Well, this blog update is well overdue. I envy all my sweet friends that blog so well. I spent an hour trying to change the way it looks and then another half an hour trying to get these pictures in the right order. I still didn't do it. Oh well, I will keep trying.

We are so enjoying Colorado Springs! We miss all our friends and family terribly, but what a great place to live. I have always lived in a small town and it is so nice to have shopping, a view of the mountains, a McDonalds with a playplace, YMCA to work out, all right near our house.

Tonight we walked one of the trails near our house. It is fun to explore.

Our old house in Arkansas...what a cutie! This picture makes me miss it. Jack is looking at it while I am typing and said, "Is that our old house? I miss it." The boys ask about Arkansas all the time and say things like, "I want to go to Arkansas and tell my friends.... or show my friends..."
